Week 2: When In Rome: A woman (Kristin Bell) travels to Rome for her sister's wedding and tries her luck at making a wish in the fountain of love. She takes some coins out of the fountain, which causes the owner of the coins to fall madly in love with her. The owners of the coins follow her to NYC and chase her for days trying to get her to fall in love with them (John Heder, Danny Devito, Dax Shephard, Josh Duhamel, and Will Arnet)
I give this story line 5 stars. This movie was very fast paced and interesting throughout. Not to mention it was pretty funny. Although this movie is VERY unrealistic and is just an urban myth it still was easy to relate to. I like movies I can relate to. I would suggest going to this whenever you want, morning, noon, or night.
Next Week: Dear John....

Week 1 Of Love Movies
So a friend and I have decided to go see all of these love movies that are coming out for the valentine's day season. It is very funny actually because I am typically not a huge fan of these types of movies, but I have been enjoying myself.
Anyways
Week 1: Leap Year: A woman (Amy Adams from Enchanted) decides she wants her boyfriend to become her fiance. He is on a business trip in Ireland and a tradition in Ireland is that on Leap Day a woman can propose to a man, so she sets out to propose to him.
I give this one 3 stars because although funny at times this movie had a lot of seriousness to it as well. I also felt that it would never happen in real life and therefore could not really relate to the movie. I would suggest waiting for the dollar theater or for it to come on DVD to watch it.

January 2010
I am back in Provo, after an extensive break in California I have returned to BYU. This semester I am taking my last religion requirement and all other major focused classes. I am planning for graduation in December 2010. Keep your fingers crossed and pray for me.
Home was good and I miss it often, but knowing that it is always there waiting for me brings a great sense of security. The recent development of yet another cold/cough/flu accompanies the new semester, and I begin to wonder if anyone else has been this sick this often, but I suppose when you attend a university with 30,00 plus germ filled students, you are bound to pick something up somewhere.
Sorry there have been no picture posts lately, my computer is having uploading trouble. There has been many birthdays, outings, and celebration photos that I would love to show you.
I recently got released as Visiting Teaching Supervisor, and was given the calling of Break the Fast Co-Chair. I am now in charge of providing one meal a month for 200 people. February is my first month, let me know if you have any suggestions.
Utah has been lacking in the snow fall lately which makes me kind of sad, because I really want to go sledding, but this week it is suppose to snow like crazy, which I am very excited about.
I will keep you updated if anything begins to happen that is exciting.

And so it came....
And so it came the lovely little thing we like to call snow! Come to find out it has been snowing in sacramento too! Well Sacramento listen up: I will be there in 9 days and you better provide some sunshine for me! The warmth would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Anyways it has been snowing a bunch here and i would love to play around in it and go sledding and build a snowman, but I can't I have to study all day every day and do meaningless assignments that they give us at the last second. But its okay we still have 4 months of the white stuff left. So I am sure I will build my snowman soon. :)
Merry Christmas!

My life at a glance!
BYU is a funny place in the fall time. People just go crazy. They are so excited to be back at school with thousands of people and they tend to do crazy things.
Exhibit A: Jump In Large Piles of Leaves (I enjoy this as well)
Exhibit B: Go on 5 Dates in One Weekend (their hometown just did not offer as much as provo does in the lady department)
Exhibit C: Enroll in unnecessary classes and therefore become over stressed and under slept.
Exhibit D: Wear Boots With Skirts and Shorts
Exhibit E: Decide to go Ice Blocking at 2 am
As for me I just go crazy because I get frustrated with how far people will go to get a date or to be noticed and accepted by their peers. School and Work also contribute to my crazy factor. By accepting an on campus job, where I do get taken care of, but unfortunately get paid less, causes a lot of money strains and creative thinking in ways to make my dollar stretch. I have been sick already three times, and I am learning how to play catch up well, which is a skill that I did not know I had. I also am well into my major, which provides many extensive projects and research assignments. The library has become my new home, but provides an opportunity to see friends from past semesters, which I do enjoy. Living with 5 other girls is also a contribution to my craziness. It is really really fun, but I get nothing done in the way of school work at home, and everyday I wash at least one load of dishes. I use to hate it but the situation has grown on me to the point of a positive and healthy crazy aspect of my life. I also feel that I am way too social! I make so many plans for one day and night, that I often find myself jumping from one activity to another. In the world of dating, there is no success, but that is okay. I like to think of it as a game of hide and seek, where the good ones are all really good at the hiding part, and I am terrible at the seeking part. :) Do not forget that the weather is very very cold and snowy, and then all of a sudden will switch to 70 degrees and sunny skies in just a matter of hours, and that you have to walk in it and often get confused as to what to wear or do! The weather is often a contributor to some of my crazy moods and frustrations. I just want to scream at it to make up its mind! :)
Well I hope that your lives are just as crazy and hectic as mine and that you are not forgetting to write it all down.
Life is wonderful and I love it and love you all!

November comes....
November has come!
It has been surprisingly pleasant weather. After snow for two days just a week ago, the sun has been steadily shining with temperatures in the 60's and 70's. There is only 21 more days until one of my favorite holidays. My sister just had a child, which means I am an aunt again. Number 4 is just as exciting as number 1.
This past week has been somewhat enlightening. Its strange sometimes how the most simple principles of life just come pouring out and you realize what is important in this life. I have learned that it does not matter what people think of you or what people want from you. I have to be myself and stop trying to please and impress everyone. People have to accept me for me and not try to change me. And no matter what happens I have to keep trusting people. I am able to see that this is a learning experience. I am getting an education while getting an education.
November has come and there are many exciting events that will occur during this month! I am looking forward to it.
Happy Fall and Thanksgiving!
