Finally... A New Entry

I haven't written in here in forever! Well here is an update of my past 6 months. I started and finished my first semester at BYU. I did alright grade wise and I have to say it is one of the hardest things that I have ever done. I am now in the middle of Spring term, and I am doing a bit better.

I work at Jamba Juice everyday, and I never get sick of the smoothies because I am always inventing new ones. We are constantly cracking jokes and finding new ways to bring customers in. We are notorious for our free wheatgrass wednesday, orange juice tuesday, and on fridays and saturdays, we have a banana man who walks around handing out free smoothies.

I have met a ton of great people through work and school. Most of them are from California. Although, summer is a bit different here, there are not many people around and its a lot more stress free. I enjoy it.

A few months back my friends and I decided to climb Y mountain at midnight. When we got to the top it was raining. We laid upside down on it and I thought for sure that I was going to die. We also took another hike into Provo Canyon, to a "so called cave" It was a circle cut out of the mountain, that I could barely fit in. So much for a caving adventure. We like to explore the different mountain hikes Provo has to offer.

My room mates and I get along pretty well, and will continue to live with each other through the fall term. We eat really well, because we all love to cook and eat. Our favorite dishes would have to be Mexican ones, and we can never get enough ice cream.

A Few Days Before Giving Thanks

Today I went to classes with natalie. It was a good time. It makes me look forward to Jan. when i can actually attend here. I will be going home in a few days. I will get to see people that i haven't seen in awhile. Kind of excited. Church went well yesterday. I learned about family search indexing. And Giving thanks. I hope I can be able to have more thanks and count my many blessings. (just like the song). Well I will come on again after thanksgiving and report about my adventures. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Snowing and Election Results

I am so excited to tell you that I woke up to a text message from halie saying happy snow day! Yay! I jumped up and preceded to wipe my foggy window clean so i could witness snow on all of the cars and ground. I live halfway underground. I am scared to see my window all the way covered in snow when it snows more than a few inches. It will be like living in cave. This just makes today a very good day. I love it. Also we heard back from California Prop 8 results and it passed. I am so glad to see all of the hard work paid off. Also was able to witness a historical moment last night as we got a new president. some people here in utah (aka people who live in my complex) went crazy. These guys made up a chant about Obama and were shouting it in the parking lot. Most were angry. This one girl made me turn off the tv and told me to lock her in her room for four years until the next election because she was so disappointed. I just laughed. I am trying to get to bed earlier each night. So after she made me turn off the tv i just went home and went to sleep. I can honestly say that I am truly happy at this moment in time. Hope you have a goood day.
